Autopylot is building an easy-to-use platform that integrates all elements of the mission planning and execution process (airspace, weather, calendar events, and communication). The Autopylot platform will support individual pilots and teams and will eventually be used by enterprise clients to source their aerial imagery, data collection and inspection needs.

Tauty is a licensed drone pilot and is building a solution to a problem he’s experienced. In 2021 he founded Autopylot to change the way Drone missions were planned and manged. Before starting AutoPylot, Tauty co-founded The Bagel Place in South Burlington, Vermont, and was its Director of Operations. Within two years of opening, The Bagel Place generated $1.4 Million in revenue and employed 25 local workers. In 2016, The Bagel Place expanded and opened a second location in Newton, Massachusetts. Tauty moved to Boston and became the stores' Director of Marketing, helping the site reach probability in three months by doubling its monthly revenue and optimizing store operations. As the director of operations for both locations, Tauty managed 50 employees and $2.4 Million in recurring annual revenue.
